New and Returning Scouts

Interested in joining Pack 7, or just considering it? Come and check out one of our Pack events.
Annual dues for the 2024-25 school year are $150/scout (excluding a one-time $25 registration fee). Part of this will be paid to the BSA and part to Pack 7 Fairfax. 

New Scouts

Note: Follow these instructions if you have never before registered with the BSA, and are creating a brand new profile. 
Step 1. Complete BSA Registration
Click on the link to complete your BSA Registration. This will add your child to Pack 7 and make them eligible for awards.
Step 2. Pay Pack 7 Dues
Annual dues are $150/scout. You'll pay $95 directly to the BSA at registration, and the remaining $55 to Pack 7. 
Step 3. Fill out Medical Forms
Fill out the required medical forms for each person who plans on attending a Pack 7 overnight event. Retain for your records.

Returning Scouts (Active)

Note: Follow these instructions if you are currently registered with the BSA and up-to-date on your Pack 7 dues (ie, paid last year).
Step 1. Pay Pack 7 Dues
Annual dues are $150/scout. You'll pay the entire $150 to Pack 7, and we'll pay the BSA directly.

Returning Scouts (Lapsed)

Note: Follow these instructions if you were previously registered with the BSA, but are out-of-date on your Pack 7 dues.
Step 1. Renew BSA Registration
Click on the link to renew your BSA Registration. Make sure to register as an "Existing Scout" and enter your Member ID.
Step 2. Pay Pack 7 Dues
Annual dues are $150/scout. You'll pay $95 directly to the BSA at registration, and the remaining $55 to Pack 7. 

Uniforms and Handbooks

Note: Uniforms and Activity Books can be purchased directly from the Marin Council Trading Post in San Rafael. 
Uniforms
Please purchase a "Class A" uniform for your Cub Scout. This includes a BSA shirt in blue or tan, relevant Pack 7 patches (see placement guide), a neckerchief and slide, and a cap. A Cub Scout belt is also recommended for collecting and displaying belt loops earned for achievements. 
Handbooks
You should also purchase an activity book for your Scout so that they can follow-along with the required Den activities and trainings. The books contain tons of helpful information, as well as fun activities that your Scout can complete at home or with their Den as part of a meeting. ​
