Annual "Scouting for Food" Service Campaign

Thank you Pack 7 for participating in this year's annual Scouting for Food Community Service campaign on the two Saturdays in November. In total Scouts and adult volunteers distributed about 44,000 doorhangers around neighborhoods in eastern Marin on November 8, then returned on November 11 to collect over 45,000 lbs of food donations (a nearly 40% increase over last year). This highly visible public project is an enormous benefit to the SF-Marin Food Bank helping to alleviate food insecurity in their community beneficiaries during the holiday season.
